Robert E. Poll

Robert Poll is a highly regarded member of the finance industry. For over twenty years, he held senior level management roles at some of the largest and most respected firms in the securities business, including Lazard Frères & Co., William Blair & Co., Morgan Stanley, and Chase Manhattan Bank.

During his tenure as General Partner and Manager of the Municipal Division of Lazard Freres & Co., Mr. Poll was responsible for overall management, which included: trading, underwriting, arbitrage, research, sales, municipal advisory, and banking activities. Under his guidance, the Municipal Division advised on, or senior managed, some of the largest and most innovative issues ever financed at the time, totaling over $175 billion. 

Since founding Poll Financial in 1998, Mr. Poll has provided strategic and financial advisory services to numerous corporations, family offices, and government entities. This has oftentimes led to him assuming a senior executive role within the institution.

Mr. Poll has served in senior roles for a variety of non-profit and civic organizations, including as a trustee of the Citizens Budget Commission of New York, and as a member of the advisory board of the University of Michigan Public Finance Institute. He has also served as president of the Indiana University Kelley School of Business Alumni Board and was chairman of the Indiana University Business Conference.

Mr. Poll is also a founding partner and President of One World Financial Partners, an investment banking firm.

Mr. Poll holds a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science from Kenyon College, a Masters of Business Administration from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, and did post-graduate work at the University of Michigan Public Finance Institute.
